Imagine taking the stage on a nationally-televised game show. Your adrenaline is pumping. The curtains pull back to reveal your big prize.

Contestant Danielle Perez was so in the moment, she hardly realized at first how ironic her prize — a treadmill — actually was. The comedian, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, appeared on “The Price is Right” earlier this week. The clip of her prize reveal has lit up the internet and last night Perez was invited to Jimmy Kimmel Live. There she was awarded a much more accessible gift, an all-expenses paid cruise aboard the new Anthem of the Seas.
Why a cruise? All Royal Caribbean ships are fully equipped for guests with disabilities and special needs, putting a whole world of safe, accessible vacations within reach.
Accessible Staterooms – Available on every ship in the fleet, these rooms are complete with special features and modifications especially for guests who use wheelchairs, like lowered sinks and vanities, wider doors, roll-in showers and more.
Getting Around – Elevators and ramps are located throughout each ship, even leading up to the North Star observation capsule on Anthem, which was designed to comfortably accommodate guests in wheelchairs.
Fun for All – From lower playing tables and slot machines in the casino to lifts at the main pool and whirlpool, guests enjoy accessible venues and amenities throughout the ship’s public areas.
As for what she plans to do with her treadmill, the good-humored Perez joked with Kimmel, “I guess I’ll just do what everyone else does and use it as a piece of furniture!”
