We’ve made the case before that getting married at sea makes for the ultimate destination wedding. When you have your ceremony with Royal Caribbean, you’ll find many of the same benefits you love when cruising with the brand: next-level service, fewer details for you to handle, peace of mind—and ultimate enjoyment.
No matter if you’re looking for a sizable celebration, an exotic island ceremony or an intimate service, our Royal Caribbean Wedding Packages and specialists will let you create a one-of-a-kind way to tie the knot. Here’s the scoop on our customizable wedding offerings.
Vows At Sea
A special occasion calls for special service, so you’ll have both a pre-cruise wedding planner and an onboard wedding coordinator with this package. These specialists will ensure a smooth celebration and help with any extras you need, like a live pianist to play as you walk down the aisle. Choose from stunning options for your private venue—such as the Solarium, with its abundance of plants, outdoor fountains, and light, or Dazzles on Oasis of the Seas, which features an eye-popping spiraled staircase—for up to 50 guests. Since you’ll also receive an hour of professional photography to capture the day, you can focus on living in the moment, until it’s time to take the party afterwards to one of the many clubs and venues on board.
To decompress after the festivities, the happy couple can look forward to a decorated honeymoon room, complete with a bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. They’ll have a honeymoon dinner in one of the ship’s popular specialty dining restaurants, and breakfast in bed (with mimosas, of course) on the morning of their choice.
Embark On Romance
If you’re inviting a mix of sailing and non-sailing guests, then the Embark on Romance Package is ideal. With a ceremony taking place on the day of embarkation, up to 75 non-sailing guests can board the ship to join you for the ceremony, before waving you off on your journey. Everyone attending will receive pier-to-ship escorts to avoid any boarding chaos, and cruising guests receive priority check-in, so they can board the ship quickly and prepare for the festivities. You and your partner also will enjoy a specially decorated suite with a mimosa breakfast in bed, and a honeymoon dinner at one our specialty restaurants, like Wonderland, known for its wildly inventive fare and craft cocktails.
Intimately Yours
Big gatherings aren’t for everyone, which is why we created the Intimately Yours Package. For couples who prefer a small, romantic event, you can say “I Do” in a private ceremony just for two, or invite up to 10 guests to join you for the intimate celebration. This intimate service—also excellent for vow renewals—can be elevated by making use of North Star, the 360-degree viewing capsule, where you can take your vows soaring 300 feet above sea level.
Destination I Do
One of the best parts of cruising is seeing different countries, and the Destination I Do Package lets you pick a port for an easy—but stunning—destination wedding. Whether you’re joining your lives in the Bahamas or Jamaica, up to 50 guests can join you on the docked ship or right in the port city. To keep things running smoothly, you’ll also receive an on-site wedding coordinator with this package, in addition to the pre-cruise planner and onboard coordinator.
Fret not about logistics: The couple will receive dedicated transportation for easy arrival. And since you may be off the ship, we’ll even provide a bridal bouquet, matching boutonniere and a bottle of bubbly to mark the occasion.
Bring Your Wedding To Life
No matter which package you pick, it’s your wedding and that means you can customize it—from flowers to wedding cake flavors to spa services—to fit your day. Whether you decide on an al fresco ceremony in Central Park, an elegant affair at Giovanni’s Table or a lively party in the Music Hall on board Ovation of the Seas, our wedding specialists will help you create the wedding you want.
Whichever way you go, this could be your ultimate destination wedding. For more on Royal Caribbean weddings, head here.
